Up to 4 weeks for regular portrait sessions. Up to 8 weeks for wedding photography. I try to be faster if I can, but it really depends on the season.

I do also offer a rush service. The fee is $75 per session and $350 per wedding. Which will get your gallery to you with in 48 hours to 72 hours depending on the number of photos there is to edit. 

What is a mini session? That is a set date and time for the session where the sessions are short and sweet(10 to 15 minutes normally)I always have some kind of an over the top photography set (usually a holiday theme or with something special) Sessions are back to back. You get a small number of images , hints the word mini. They are not always cheaper due to rentals of props but they are usually a HUGE set full of character and a once a year thing.) I do offer gift certificates for session. I can do a full session fee or any set amount.  I can print for you to pick up or email you to print. All gift certificates / cards must be paid for in full of course before you are sent one. 

All portrait sessions and weddings come via an online gallery only (link that I email to you) You may download your photos from there. It is SUPER easy to use.

• You can share directly from it. 
• You can send the link to family and friends. 
• Gallery is on a cloud and protected for years.
• Has no limit on # of times it can be downloaded. 
• You can even order prints through my printing service. 
• No cds or flash drives to lose. You can save from the cloud to one if you wish on your own.

Yes, all portrait sessions and weddings come with a print release. You may print the photos where ever you wish.  If you decide to print on your own I suggest downloading to a computer only to do so. 

You can also print through my printing service, which is not much more than the big box store printing services however the quality is much better.  I can also see your orders and help if there is any issues.

If you need help printing your images you can also contact me and I can help with that if you print through the link. I can not control or help with quality, shipping, or anything if you print outside of the link.

Yes and yes! 

When booking your portrait session you pick which photography package you want. I do tend to overshoot and get more images than what comes with your package. It's sometimes hard for me to narrow down which photos I think you will want. I always try to give you the option to select your images and if you want to upgrade to get more images you can. If this happens then you will be sent proofs via an online proof gallery to review so you can make your selection or upgrade. 

90% of sessions I do get more than the package. Now sometimes we don't if that does happen I send the quality photos we got. 

When booking a session or wedding with me there is a non fundable and non transferable retainer due at the time of booking. This ensures your spot is held and that no one can take your time spot. Retainers are half of the session fee and 25% on weddings and grow with me packages. Remaining balances are due at the time of services **except for weddings and mini / event sessions. Both are due 1 week before the session date. 

I do offer payment plans for weddings and grow with me packages.  Payment plans can also be offered on upgrades over $200

Payment options include:

• Checks, made to Abigail Troy Photography (you can drop off or mail) 
• Cash, dropped off at the studio
• Venmo
• Credit/Debit Card via Square invoice with processing fee. 

No shows to sessions will not be able to rebook without repaying the retainer. No refunds will be given to anyone who no shows to their session.

Basic editing would include:

• Cropping and any lighting corrections. 
• Whitening teeth as needed at photographer's discretion.
• Removing minor blemishes/acne.
• Smoothing of skin as needed at photographer's discretion.  

Sometimes I do get requests for more detailed editing. There is an extra fee for this. Pricing ranging from $15 to $25 per photo, deepening on what needs to be done.  

Here are a few examples

• Fixing hair (removing any flyaways, dying your hair, cutting hair.)
• Correcting makeup or adding make up in post. 
• Removing braces or adding in teeth if one is missing. 
• Fixing glasses (glare, transition lens)
• Fixing clothing in any way, including color changes, fixing pants that are too short, changing the color of sock, and so on. 
• Removing people or other objects from photos
• Clipping the photos (making the background transparent)
• Bad acne, anything more than a blemish or two.
• Items from background that were part of the venue/background that was selected.
• Removing leashes from pets
• Head swaps, opening of eyes, smile swaps, etc. 
• Anything that is outside of normal/basic editing listed above. 

I do not do body changes such as slimming or making certain parts larger than what they are. I like to photograph people how they are in the moment. If you have concerns with any of these please tell me before the shoot. We can always get creative with posing. I am very good at posing. 

• All types of pets are welcome! I do not care what type of pet you bring. I have photographed everything from horses, cattle, snakes, lizards, cats, dogs, birds and I am always up for new pets. 
• You have to give notice before bringing any pets. If no notice is given then your pet is not allowed in the photos. No exceptions as I have animals as well and this could cause issues with them. This could also become a safety issue for your pet was well.
• All pets must be on leash / caged when not in use if no leash.  Leashes are required with no exception! This is due to wildlife in the field, I have an outdoor pet, there are sometimes stray dogs or cats, and my neighbor has a large dog in their fence. There’s too many distractions to just allow a pet to wonder around unfortunately so for everyone’s safety a leash is required. 
• If you want the leash off for photos you must still have full control of the animal. I suggest a very neutral color and leash that doesn't stand out. Do not bring your pet on an extender leash, the leash handle is very bulky and it's hard to remove it or hide it. 
• They must have manners and be friendly. 
• I do not handle pets so please bring someone who can handle your pet once we are done with them if they will not be in every photo. If no one is around to help they will need to be placed back in your vehicle/trailer. I do not have any tie-ups or caging options available. 
• Please bring treats and whatever they like to get their attention. 
• If you decide to go off site and not your own property you are responsible to check if they are allowed at the location you’ve selected. Leash laws will need to be followed if inside city limits. If there’s any fees to take your pet to the shoot you are also responsible for that.

Most regular sessions I am 2 to 3 months out. I sometimes do have last minutes spots open. Please just contact me as soon as you know you are interested in a session to get on the books. Weekend spots to tend to book up the soonest. Weekday and nights there's usually more options for short term booking. 

Retainers are due at time of booking! No spots are held without the retainer, if you select a date please be prepared to pay that day. 

If you are booking a deluxe or in between 1st birthday session please book 2 months in advance. This is due to getting the props needed and ordering the cake. Sometimes the baker can squeeze me in but she does have other clients as well. 

If you need hair and make up provided for a boudoir session please give a 2 to 3 months. Sometimes she can have last minutes spots but she does have other clients and I can not promise a last minute openings. 

Fall and Christmas I start openings up dates in June of each year. Weekend spots do tend to book up the soonest. Weekday and nights there's usually more options for short term booking. 

Weddings usually are anywhere from 1 to 2 years in advance. Fall dates book the fastest. I do sometimes have a couple of short notice spots, again please contact me as soon as you know your date and venue to get on the books. 

Weather sometimes isn't on our side. I hate it too and wish I could control it. If you are set on having outdoor photos then we simply have to move you to the next opening. If you are doing indoor photos, the show can go on! 

I do not cancel due to the weather until the day of, usually a few hours before due to we live in the Ozarks and it's ever changing. Cloudy days are my favorite too for lighting. IF you are coming from more than 1 hour away we can discuss it and go from there the day before. 

Bad roads: I use MODot app to see if the roads are drivable. I also use the local weather app to see how the weather is supposed to be. If they show drivable then I normally roll with the session if it's an indoor one. 

Cancelations: Life does happen and I am pretty understanding and easy to work with. I do have to have some set rules though. Retainers are non refundable as they are to hold your spot so I can't book someone in that place. Some are non moveable though. 

• No show to the session, you will have to pay another retainer to rebook, this includes grow with me sessions. 
• Less than 48 hours notice of canceling, you will have to pay another retainer to rebook. 
• If I have to hire someone for your shoot and you cancel without 72 hour notice I will have to still pay them for their time, which will come out the retainer and you will need to pay the difference to rebook. This is mainly for boudoir hair and makeup, any animal rentals, cakes that are set for delivery, etc.
•  Event/mini session retainers, if less than a 2 weeks notice and I can not rebook that spot since they are back to back and usually limited. If I can rebook it then I am happy to move you to a regular session date. You are also welcome to try to help find someone to fill your spot. 

I book my personal life around sessions and often have to miss my own family events. My time and your's are both important as well as valuable. In the event we have to move you please communicate with me.

DO NOT BE LATE TO YOUR SESSION: .

• I often book more than 1 session in a day and this can effect other clients. 
• Please plan your outfits well ahead of time for your shoot, I often have people need to move due to their poor planning on ordering clothing for the shoot that is delayed in shipping. OR they can't find something due to lack of planning. Please make sure to plan your outfits. 
• Please make sure to look up the shooting location a few days before the session and have a game plan on what time to arrive with the plan of arriving 5 to 10 minutes early. Keep in mind of the time of day and possible traffic. Make sure you know where you are going so you do not get lost. I normally can not answer the phone when working with other clients, so please make sure to know the location a few days before. 
• Lay out everything you need for your session a day or two before and have it ready so you know you don't forget something. 
• Your session time starts at the set time, if you are late it does eat into that time. 
• Often we are "chasing the sun" for golden hour sessions. Being late can really effect that and we loose light too fast the last hour of the day. There's a chance of missing the perfect sunset and lighting by being late.  Same goes for arriving early, do not arrive early expecting to start early. Timing for lighting is very important for outdoor session. Especially at golden hour! 
• Please arrive ready to go! This includes potty breaks, makeup, hair, clothing, etc. If you have to change, put on makeup, etc then this will come out the shooting time. 
• If you are more than 15 minutes late to your session it is canceled and you will need to rebook and repay your retainer.  
• You need to contact me if you are going to be late or it will count as a no show. 

Sometimes when sessions are booked we have to rent or book extra services from outside vendors. Their time and talents have to be valued as well, if you need to cancel / rebook this will need to be done a month in advance so that they can rebook or adjust their calendar. In the event that you do not cancel with in a month those services will still need to be paid in full by you the client. 

For example: if the baker makes your smash cake and you cancel the day of that is not fair to the baker to have to remake your cake for free. Or if you have a boudoir session booked and you cancel a few days before, they won't have time to rebook that spot and they might have turned down other jobs due to your booking. Another example is booking rentals for farm animals (mini cows, unicorns, goats, etc) I still have to pay those as they are in high demand. Most vendors only take on so many jobs per day and turn away extra bookings sometimes. So please be considerate of their time as well. 

All rentals or services will have to rebooked and the fees paid for any re-bookings.
