Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to receive my photos?

Most portrait and session galleries are delivered within 4 weeks. Weddings and larger events are delivered within 8 weeks.

Need them sooner? A Rush Editing Add-On is available:

• $75 per session 
• $350 per wedding or event 

Rush editing guarantees delivery within 3 business days of your session or event. If you would like rush editing, please let me know at the time of booking so I can reserve editing time on my calendar. Business days do not include weekends or holidays.

How do I receive my photos?
Your images are delivered through an online gallery link that is emailed to you, where you can download, share, and order prints.

How do I book a session?
Contact me through the Contact page and I’ll help you choose a date and session package. I now have an online booking system, there are some openings listed but not all. If you don't see one that works, reach out! https://book.usesession.com/i/83qxxDMfqE

Is a retainer required?
Yes. A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your session date. 50% for all sessions, 25% for weddings/ event packages. Some sessions that are promos or extremely discounted do require all to be paid at once. 

What if the weather is bad?
Outdoor sessions will be rescheduled if weather conditions are unsafe. Sometimes you can switch to indoors at the studio. (not all sessions can be moved indoors, it is a case by case basis)

Can I print my photos anywhere?
Yes! Your gallery includes a print release so you can print your images wherever you'd like. I do highly suggest printing through your link for good quality. I do use professional print labs. They are not over priced and I honestly want you to have great images to hang, so my mark up is not much. By printing through your link as well, you help to ensure I can keep my overall pricing lower and it pays for the online gallery hosting site. 

Are pets allowed in sessions?
Yes! Pets are welcome, but must remain leashed and supervised. I must be notified before your session if you're bringing one. Having leash, cage or another person to help with pet is suggested so we can focus on photography not pet wrangling them when they are not in the photos. 

Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes! Gift certificates are available and make great gifts for birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, or holidays. Contact me to purchase one.

Do you help with planning outfits for sessions?
Yes! After booking, you’ll receive a prep guide with tips on what to wear, how to prepare for your session, and how to get the best results. If you need more help, reach out!

What if I want more photos than what is included?                                                   

Additional images available after viewing proofs and you can upgrade / add on more. 

We’re still on the same property — but yes, things have moved a bit! We now operate out of a brand new building at 1822 South Elm Rd in Marshfield, MO, with a new entrance and parking area. If you’ve been here before, it’s the same property — just an updated space with a new access point.
